CSCS / ECS
All our operatives are JIB graded, and in February 2002, the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) was affiliated to the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS).
T.Clarke were awarded a license from the Joint Iudustry Board (JIB) to be an ECS assessment centre, with our group safety manager and group safety officers being individually licensed as invigilators for the ECS scheme.
As part of our Switched On to Safety campaign, the Safety Department embarked on a structured training programme throughout the entire group of companies within T.Clarke.
Stage 1
A one day course for our London based managerial staff, to achieve ECS manager's certification.
Stage 2
Our London based JIB operatives attending a one day course to achieve Electrical Contracting Industry's ECS Health and Safety test.
Stage 3
Extended the training course to our subsidiary companies' employees.

Since the initial assessments were carried out, we have embarked on a programme of re-assessments timed with the expiry of the ECS card.
This has enabled us to maintain a fully trained workforce across the entire group.
