T.Clarke Apprentice of the Year

February 17th 2009 saw the T.Clarke Apprentice of the Year award take place. The presentation was made by Mr Simon Hughes, MP for Bermondsey and North Southwark. Mr Hughes in his presentation speech commended T.Clarke for their commitment to training apprentices and said how he was especially pleased to be asked to present the award on this, our 120th anniversary, year.

The award of T.Clarke Apprentice of the Year went to Nicola Zeni, Stage 3 apprentice of T.Clarke (London) with runners up awards going to Phillip Hadaway of Kent based W.E.Manin, and Lee Holmes from Lancashire based company J J Cross.

The apprentices each received a personal trophy, cash prizes and very comprehensive tool kit courtesy of Hobby Homes (hardware suppliers to the industry) all in recognition of their achievements.
