TClarke’s record order book bears scrutiny as Group CEO Mark Lawrence explains.
In our 2016 Annual Report, we announced record turnover and a record order book of £330m - including the 48,000 sq ft Office fit out for Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP at London Wall Place. For everyone with a stake in TClarke, I think it is very important to see the value and success which wins like this represent for our business.
TClarke operates in highly competitive markets as a high value, high quality operation. Winning and delivering jobs like this fit out for Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP gives TClarke teams the chance to develop and deepen our skills and expertise. Secondly, it helps us to deepen key industry relationships and re-earn our reputation in the market and thirdly, within the context of our targeted tendering approach, this is another example of TClarke being able to select the jobs where we can create value for clients and also deliver fair value for our business and shareholders too.
This fit out, following on the significant recent wins of major follow-on projects at Rathbone Square, The International Quarter London and nationwide with clients like BAE, shows the value placed on TClarke - and the value that TClarke can deliver.
Our order book is filled with high quality, high value project work just like this - projects that deliver value for our business and for all our stakeholders. That is great news for us and it is a point that’s worth underlining - As the order book has grown larger, the quality has remained of the very highest order.
