TClarke’s Health & Safety Technical Director, Marc Bailey, celebrates the success of Luke Callinan in gaining recognition for his work and a commendation at the ‘Rising Star in Health and Safety Awards 2017’, held at the Excel Centre in London. Marc explained that after the success of Josh Bourne in 2016, it is great to have two ‘Rising Stars’ in his charge and what an asset it is for the company.
Luke has made substantial strides forwards in his professional career and outlook and is determined to be the best he can be in a demanding role. Since Luke has been with the department he has excelled as a team player but is also robust as an individual.
Natural talent for H&S and for communication
Luke has a natural talent, flair, and ability not only for H&S, but also for communicating with people of all levels - and they in turn recognise his ability and desire to deliver first class results.
Improved capability developed on high profile projects
Luke is building strong relationships with his peers and they soon realise that Luke is also a ‘go-to guy’ and ‘go get’ person. He has drive, enthusiasm and the ability to deliver the required results - not only for the individuals he is representing or acting for, but for the company as a whole. Luke has been responsible for overseeing the H&S procedures on a number of high profile electrical and mechanical projects including; BBC White City, Nova Victoria and One Angel Court. He is currently site-based on our Southbank Place Project, to enable him to interact with our workforce on a daily basis.
Determined to get the job done
Luke is single-minded in his dedication to the health & safety tasks that he completes. What’s more, he does it with the utmost professionalism.
On behalf of everyone at TClarke, congratulations Luke for being a Rising Star!
