Truro Library, Truro

The refurbishment of this Grade 2 listed building had to be done with great sensitivity to its heritage. The existing library remained open throughout, requiring us to consider the needs of its employees and users.

The work was comprehensive and included intruder alarm and CCTV, a completely new heating system with radiant heat panels and a new 200A mains infrastructure.

Since the council specified environmental considerations, we also installed a complete BMS system to monitor use of water, electricity and gas.The completed project brings twenty-first century technology to a wonderful old building.
