Home to three GP practices, two dental practices, physiotherapy and podiatry clinics, home care services and district nursing teams, this purpose-built centre serves 25,000 local residents.
Such a multi-function building requires a full range of services, from lighting to ventilation, from water and drainage to demanding temperature control.
It was also designed to be a low-energy building, using generous insulation, localised air-conditioning and geothermal-assisted underfloor heating.
Additionally, low-energy lighting has been installed throughout, with BMS controls to maximise gas, electricity and water usage.
