Stansted Airport Extension, Essex

An 11,000 m sq extension to the Stansted Airport main terminal; we were involved in its design & “buildability” reviews and with development activities for the mechanical systems, working with the design team and BAA.

Our duties were far-reaching from airside security management, equipment deliveries and storage arrangements to on-site coordination, system testing and client familiarisation and training.

The project required a fast-track installation programme, with stringent logistics requirements (including high level security & access regimes), and the commissioning sequence and associated sign-off/close out activities were also very sensitive.
