Anglesey Abbey Visitor Centre, Cambridge

The new National Trust project was designed in a historical context with the requirement to maximise the use of sustainable materials.

We provided all M&E services in the contemporary 170-seat restaurant, education room, office and service areas and National Trust shop, alongside a glazed central reception and ticket hall space.

Because the centre is separated from the existing gardens by a belt of trees, we installed a range of external lighting to offer safe pathways and highlight the building’s design.

Our comprehensive range of systems for the building included: a building management system, a public address and sound amplification system, a security system and a fire alarm and detection system.
