TClarke Healthcare selected for offsite manufacture of major healthcare facility in Chertsey

Our selection for this 62-bed Priority Assessment Unit at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey is another strong sign that we’re on track with our growth journey and steadily achieving our considerable potential in healthcare across the UK. This win shows how TClarke is spreading its name as an industry leader.
When you combine the principles of offsite manufacturing with complex healthcare engineering, high energy efficiency targets and construction in a live hospital environment, there is a clear requirement for the skills and specialist experience that TClarke has in-house.
The second thing to highlight is the renewed focus on modern methods of construction itself. This is one of a new generation of healthcare projects in which complex facilities are constructed offsite to gain advantages in quality, safety and delivery speed. This project will only be onsite for around 6 months. Project by project, we are establishing ourselves as leaders in these modern methods of construction for healthcare.
This is also a new geographical area for us in healthcare. To deliver this project, we will combine healthcare engineering teams from our South West operation, with specialist delivery teams with extensive expertise in Design and Build from our Derby operation. This smart and value-focused combination of our in-house resources underlines our capability to help deliver complex healthcare projects anywhere in the UK.
Moreover this project will also demonstrate how quickly we can react, with Premier, to the Trust’s specific requirements and support challenging programme delivery times – which will prove again the value of our large-scale nationwide in-house resource.
