TClarke helps launch girls football team

TClarke’s sponsorship has helped Billericay Town’s Under 11 Girls team to get underway in their first ever competitive season – and with no losses so far. Manager Pat McCarthy tells the story.

First of all we would love to say a big thank you to TClarke for helping us on our journey.

This is our first season at Billericay Town and TClarke  has made it even more special with their help.

We are a newly-formed team, and all our girls absolutely love football. They are ambitious, hardworking players who want to play football as much as possible. As such, the cost of equipment, training and travel can mount up.

The generous sponsorship from TClarke means we are able to relieve our parents and help out by providing football kits, coats for the winter, training equipment and more training opportunities.

The girls can enjoy their football and parents are not pulling their hair out worrying about lost shinpads or boots. The cost of football kits and everything can work out as very expensive, meaning some girls might miss out on the amazing experience of playing grassroots football, which can be heartbreaking for parents.

Not only do our girls look fantastic in their new kits, they are flying, with no losses as of yet. Our parents feel stress free and focus on different ways of improving the environment within the team and opportunities for the girls.

The girls really love being in each other’s company. They are so hungry to succeed and make a name for themselves. With TClarke’s help the girls are making memories, friendships and progressing on their football journey.

TClarke HR Manager, Roxanne Brown added:

“We are happy that this sponsorship supports our 25 by 28 programme, which aims to achieve 25% female TClarke entrants for apprenticeships and people in training by 2028. Sponsoring female sporting teams is a great way to help reach our target over future years.

“Sport can be an important part of young female lives, helping break the barriers females face. We’re delight that the Billericay Town Under 11 Girls Football Team players are having fun, winning games and breaking barriers.”
