Future Leaders deliver value

14/10/22: As TClarke moves steadily ahead towards achieving its revenue Growth plan, one of the keyways the business has positioned itself for expansion is by securing the pipeline of future leaders. As with so many aspects of TClarke the approach is long term and growth is organic.

The Future Leaders programme was started in 2017 with the objective of identifying talent within the business and bringing it together to build their professional support network, deepen their understanding of our capabilities and develop their careers. Mike Crowder, Group MD, has led the programme personally from the start:

“We identified Talent and Succession Planning as key to our growth – and we decided to take direct control and be proactive in making sure we set up the pipeline of quality people we needed.  Now in its fifth year, Future Leaders is delivering for our business and for our clients who see direct commercial value in the quality, consistency, and scale of our engineering resource across the UK.

“During this week’s sessions, we have welcomed five more into the Future Leaders group from the finalists of our Apprentice of the Year 2022 programme. We have been immersing them in various aspects of leadership at TClarke from new Technologies and business strategy to Commerciality and Legal aspects of our work. We also spend a lot of time on our Health & Safety Processes and Procedures.

“The TClarke Way of doing things is in many ways our Unique Sales Proposition.  The TClarke Way is trusted by clients, so sharing our professional culture is central to what Future Leaders is all about.

“Today in 2022, I’m absolutely delighted with this year’s intake and at the progress of more than forty leaders within the business, alongside our apprenticeship programme, Future Leaders shows that TClarke takes a strong, proactive and effective approach to talent development.”
