Scotland M&E credentials showcased in Design and Build for new Edinburgh Rugby stadium

10/12/20: As Regional teams demonstrate success in winning and delivering landmark projects, our team in Scotland has delivered a brand-new stadium for Edinburgh Rugby, with a full M&E package as Scotland Managing Director Gary Jackson explains.

The Edinburgh Rugby Stadium sits right next to the International Rugby Stadium at Murrayfield. It is a new landmark for Edinburgh and has attracted considerable publicity for the club and for our business.

Our scope of works included the design, supply & installation of all the M&E and Technology Services to create a first-class modern venue, including:

  • LV Distribution & LV Containment Network
  • Small Power
  • Lighting and Emergency Lighting
  • Lightning Protection System
  • Fire Alarm System
  • CCTV System
  • Public Address Voice Alarm (PAVA) System
  • Induction Loop System
  • Information Communication Technology (ICT) Infrastructure
  • Trace Heating
  • Above Ground Drainage

This project delivered a traditionally-styled 7,800-capacity stadium, consisting of four covered seating grandstands and three covered standing spectator terraces, and also included a disabled viewing platform, designed to enhance the matchday experience and accessibility for Edinburgh’s dedicated rugby fans.Working within Covid-19 restrictions, our team has demonstrated what TClarke can deliver .
