TClarke Scotland brings in further series of strategic wins

TClarke Scotland are announcing not just one but a series of major project wins as the business demonstrates further evidence of the effectiveness of the growth programme.

Located just off George Square, the new neighbourhood of Love Loan covers a whole city block and is another exceptionally high profile project for TClarke to win. This is a development from Chris Stewart Group. Block D is a 280-bed, purpose-built student accommodation building and we are working for main contractor and long-term partner, Thomas Johnstone.  Our scope is full MEP and ICT and delivery will be fully in-house using our engineering services and residential teams working in partnership.

On the same scale of prestige and contract size, TClarke has also been selected to deliver the full building services package for the new Edinburgh Innovation Hub. This is a joint venture between East Lothian Council and Queen Margaret University and we are working for main contractor Heron Brothers – another long-term partner. The 7,200 sqm Hub, which received planning permission last September, is expected to be completed in 2025. It will comprise flexible laboratory, office and fully equipped meeting and conference spaces for rent by high growth small to medium enterprises (SMEs).

And the success in the Engineering Services market is fully matched by our Residential operation. We are now able to announce success in winning projects at Cala Homes East Millerhill, Cala Homes East St Crispins and Barratt Homes Kilmarnock.

TClarke Scotland MD Chris Harris commented :

“The appetite for TClarke’s recipe of highly skilled in-house teams, delivering collaboratively and safely, is strong within the Scots Engineering Services and Residential markets. We have teams and capabilities whose value is now well recognised. Congratulations must go to our people involved in securing all five of these valuable projects.”
